Methodology
Data is from the December 2018 Salesforce report titled "State of Marketing: Fifth Edition." 4,101 marketing leaders worldwide were surveyed during August 13-September 23, 2018. Respondents were based in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, the Nordics (Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden), Singapore, UK and US. Respondents were from B2B and B2C companies and were segmented into high-performing, moderate-performing or underperforming groups.
