Data is from the September 2018 Retail Systems Research (RSR) report titled "2018 Ramping Up Retail Innovation." 103 retailers worldwide were surveyed online during June-July 2018. Respondents' headquarters were primarily in the US (72%) but also included Asia-Pacific (3%), Europe (1%), Latin America (1%), Middle East (2%) and the UK/Ireland (20%). Respondents represented retailers who sold in the following product categories: apparel (16%), boutique retailers (7%), FMCG (18%), general merchandise (30%), hard goods (23%) and hospitality/restaurant/retail services/entertainment/other (7%).
