Methodology
Data is from the February 2018 Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Altagamma report titled "2018 True-Luxury Global Consumer Insight: 5th Edition." 12,000+ luxury consumers in 12 countries worldwide, including 1,000+ in China, were surveyed during 2017. Respondents spent an average of approximately €37K in luxury purchases in the past year. Respondents were drawn from China, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, South Korea, the UK and the US. Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Altagamma conduct similar surveys annually.Chart Title
