Methodology
Data is from the July 2018 RetailX and Internet Retailing report titled "Internet Retailing Europe Top500 2018" as cited in company blog. The data is based on the analysis of the Top 500 retailers in the 31 countries in the European Economic Area (including Switzerland) ranked by footprint or size. Companies excluded from the Top 500 are: 1) marketplaces, 2) pure transaction/tariffs (including media streaming services) and 3) B2B and direct-selling brands.Sources
