Description

According to eMarketer, 37% of digital video viewers have paid subscription to OTT video services in China. 24% of digital video viewers subscribe to Tencent, 22.9% to iQiyi, and 22% to Youku. All three are popular for streaming video content over the internet.

Note

Traditional distribution includes IPTV, cable, satellite, wireless carriers and fiber operators, multiple system operators (MSOs), multichannel video programming distributors (MVPDs), and major TV broadcast and cable networks.

Estimates are based on the analysis of survey and traffic data from research firms and regulatory agencies, sales projections, historical trends, company-specific data, and demographic and socioeconomic factors.
