US Internet Users' Attitudes Toward Ads Today*, Nov 2017 (% of respondents)
Internet users in the US were asked about their attitudes toward advertising. This chart breaks out the respondents who were in agreement vs. disagreement with select statements including "ads are appearing in more places now," "I see more ads now," and "ads are more intrusive now" among others.
Data is from the "AdReaction" global consumer survey featured in the January 2018 Kantar Millward Brown "AdReaction: The Art of Integration, U.S. Report." 1,001 US internet users ages 16-55 were surveyed online during August-November 2017. 14,500 internet users ages 16-65 in 45 countries were surveyed online by Lightspeed during August-November 2017 for the AdReaction global consumer survey. In addition, more than 300 interviews were conducted for the "Getting Media Right" global marketer survey during June-August 2017. The marketers represented advertisers, agencies and media companies.
