Methodology
Data is from the June 2021 Pew Research Center report titled "Mobile Technology and Home Broadband 2021." 1,502 US consumers ages 18+ were surveyed via telephone (300 via landline, 1,202 via mobile phone) during January 25-February 8, 2021. The survey was conducted by interviewers under the direction of Abt Associates; respondent sample was provided by Dynata. Interviews were conducted in English and Spanish. The sample was weighted for age, education, gender, Hispanic origin, race, nativity, and region according to the US Census. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/-2.9 percentage points at the 95% level of confidence.Featured In
