Methodology
Data is from a January 2021 Pew Research Center report titled "News Use Across Social Media Platforms in 2020." 9,220 US adults ages 18+ from the American Trends Panel (ATP) were surveyed online during August 31-September 7, 2020. The American Trends Panel is a nationally representative panel of randomly selected US adults. Panelists who do not have internet access at home are provided with a tablet and wireless internet connection. Interviews are conducted in both English and Spanish. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/-1.7 percentage points.Chart Title
