Description

A global survey asked consumers whether they are comfortable with the concept of using facial recognition to personalize point-of-sale offers. The figures are broken out for Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the UK and the US.

Methodology

Data is from the February 2020 Toluna and Harris Interactive report titled "Global Consumer New Technology Adoption." 4,815 internet users ages 18+ were surveyed online via Toluna QuickSurveys during December 2019. Respondents were based in Australia (n=513), France (n=531), Germany (n=543), Italy (n=567), Spain (n=530), the UK (n=1,118) and the US (n=1,013).
