US consumers were asked which social media platforms they ever used: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, WhatsApp, Pinterest, LinkedIn, RedditMethodology
Data is from an October 2019 Pew Research Center report titled "Americans Are Wary of the Role Social Media Sites Play in Delivering the News." 5,107 US internet users ages 18+ from the American Trends Panel (ATP) were surveyed online during July 8-21, 2019. The American Trends Panel is a nationally representative panel of randomly selected US adults. Panelists who do not have internet access at home are provided with a tablet. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/-1.7 percentage points.Chart Title
