US consumers were asked how likely they think it is that grocery stores will make various changes and innovations in the next 5 years. Some of the responses included were the ability to scan and pay with mobile apps, supermarkets becoming primarily self-checkout, and more auto-replenish offerings.

Methodology

Data is from the March 2019 Phononic report titled "Store of the Future," conducted by Regina Corso Consulting. 1,118 US internet users ages 18+ were surveyed online during January 2018.
