This chart shows the growth of shopping app downloads globally, for both iOS and Android apps.

Data was provided to eMarketer by Apptopia.

Methodology

Data is from an April 2019 Apptopia analysis. Approximately 250,000 apps share data via developer accounts with Apptopia, which combines this with publicly available data from the app stores and other source to formulate overall usage metrics. Apptopia is a mobile app analytics platform.
