Methodology
Data is from the December 2018 Retail Touchpoints "Customer Acquisition and Retention Benchmark Report" sponsored by Extole. 100 retailers primarily in North America were surveyed during October-November 2018. Retailers had the following number of stores: 1-50 (55%), 51-200 (12%), 201-500 (9%), 501-1,000 (10%) and 1,001-5,000(8%), 5,001-10,000 (3%) and 10,000+ (3%). The retailers had annual company revenues of: Less than $50 million (47%), $50 million-$250 million (11%), $250 million-$500million (17%), $500 million+ (10%) and more than $1 billion (15%).
