What Are the Leading Priorities and Barriers Concerning Marketing Technology Success for Companies Worldwide? (% of respondents, Oct 2018)

Description

According to a 2018 survey, the leading priority for marketing technology success according to 65% of companies worldwide was increase marketing ROI. The leading barrier for marketing technology success was integrating disparate systems according to 52% of companies.

Methodology

Data is from the October 2018 Ascend2 report titled "Marketing Technology Trends." 145 marketers worldwide were surveyed online during the week of October 22, 2018. Respondents identified their role as nonmanagement professional (16%), owner/partner/CxO (33%) and VP/director/manager (51%). Respondents identified their company type as B2B (63%), B2C (20%) and equally split between B2B and B2C (17%). Respondents identified the number of employees at their company as fewer than 50 (37%), 50-500 (34%) and more than 500 (29%).
