Methodology

Data is from the June 2018 SmarterHQ, Cheetah Digital, Liveclicker and MailCharts report titled "Marketers Are on a Mission: The State of B2C Marketing." 123 US marketers were surveyed during March 14-April 7, 2018. Respondents identified their roles as associate (8%), C-suite (3%), director (19%), manager (42%), specialist (21%) and VP (7%). SmarterHQ is a multichannel behavioral marketing platform. Cheetah Digital is an enterprise cross-channel marketing solutions provider. Liverclicker is a realtime email personalization company. MailCharts is a competitor email monitoring company.
