Methodology

Data is from the May 2018 Forrester Consulting report titled "The B2B Data Activation Priority: Mature Firms Reap Benefits Of Data Activation" commissioned by Dun & Bradstreet. 500 B2B marketers from Ireland and the UK (35%) and North America (65%) were surveyed online during February-March 2018. Respondents were from both B2B and B2C companies (52%), B2B companies (39%) and B2B2C companies (9%). Respondents identified their title as C-level executive (10%), director (30%), full-time practitioner (5%), manager (35%), project manager (4%) and VP (17%). Respondents identified their department as customer data/analytics (7%), IT (28%), marketing (20%) and sales (46%). Respondents identified the number of employees at their company as 500-999 (19%), 1,000-4,999 (26%), 5,000-19,999 (26%) and 20,000 or more (29%).
