Methodology

Data is from the February 2018 Adestra report titled "2018 Digital Marketing Plans for Best-In-Class Success" in partnership with Ascend2. 154 marketers from companies primarily in North America that described their digital marketing plans as very successful (best-in-class) were surveyed during the week of November 26, 2017. 80% of respondents were from North America. Respondents identified their role as nonmanagement (9%), owner/partner/CxO (46%) and VP/director/manager (45%). Respondents identified their company type as B2B (48%), B2C (36%) and equally split between B2B and B2C (16%). Respondents identified the number of employees at their company as fewer than 50 (15%), 50-500 (37%) and more than 500 (48%). Adestra is a marketing automation and email marketing software provider.
