This chart shows digital technologies that agency and client side ecommerce professional around the world plan to experiment with by 2020. Some of the respondents include conversational commerce, AI, digital wallets, social commerce and voice technology, among others.

Methodology

Data is from the January 2018 Econsultancy and Conversion "Ecommerce Performance Report 2018." 408 ecommerce professionals worldwide were surveyed online during October-November 2017. Respondents included client-side/brand marketers working for companies with a transactional website or app (60%) as well as agencies, platform implementers and software vendors who provide related services and solutions (40%). Respondents were based in Africa (1%), Asia-Pacific (17%), Australia/New Zealand (8%), Europe (62%), North America (9%) and other (3%). Conversion is a conversion optimization agency.
