In 2017, US B2C marketing decision-makers most agreed availability of technical support services was the most important attribute when choosing a technology vendor for marketing intelligence activities. Other attributes were understanding firm-specific data challenges and size/financial viability.

Methodology

Data is from the November 2017 Forrester Consulting report titled "Marketing Intelligence: the Key to Improved Customer Satisfaction, Customer Loyalty, and Marketing ROI" commissioned by Velocidi. 273 US B2C marketing decision-makers from a variety of industries were surveyed online during June-November 2017. Respondents identified their role as brand manager (34%), C-level executive (7%), director (33%) and VP (26%). Respondents identified their company's annual revenue as $1-$4.9 billion (60%), $5-$9.9 billion (36%), $10-$19 billion (3%) and $20+ billion (1%). Velocidi is a marketing intelligence platform.
