Why did U.S. Bank’s mobile app stand out in a recent ranking?

The news: U.S. Bank secured first place in Keynova Group’s Q1 2025 Mobile Banker Scorecard, leading in both mobile web and app experiences. Our mobile app benchmark also ranked U.S. Bank in first place.

The results: According to the Keynova report, U.S. Bank performed well across several areas—which our research also confirms.

  • Virtual assistant capabilities: While some banks offer proactive features such as eBill reminders (35%) and tracking recurring transactions (17%), only 12% provide predictive low balance or overdraft notifications. U.S. Bank ranked the highest in the proactive alerts category, with a virtual assistant that also lets customers transfer money.
