Target brings back Target Circle Week to boost sales, drive paid membership enrollment

The strategy: Amid a 40-day consumer boycott over its DEI stance and a broader pullback in discretionary spending due to economic uncertainty, Target is executing near- and long-term strategies to stabilize its business.

  • In the short term, the retailer will launch the spring version of Target Circle Week on March 23. The sale will feature savings on items including apparel, patio furniture, home essentials, and beauty products.
  • In the long term, it plans to open 300 more stores over the next decade.
