NBCU and Fox ink deal to run 2 Spanish-language Super Bowl broadcasts

The news: NBCUniversal and Fox have struck a deal to bring the 2025 Super Bowl to NBCU’s Telemundo. This means the Big Game will be available in Spanish on two networks–Telemundo and Fox Deportes.

Telemundo will run its own broadcast of the Super Bowl and will be able to strike deals with local and regional marketers, per Variety reporting, while Fox will retain the rights to national advertising inventory. In 2026, NBCU will inherit the rights to the Super Bowl.

The opportunity: Hispanic viewers offer marketers a chance to tap into a diverse, rapidly growing consumer segment that is highly engaged with sports media and has significant buying power.
