Jets sponsors no longer stop at the stadium gates. The New York Jets partnered with Outfront Media this summer to connect in-stadium sponsorships with out-of-home (OOH) inventory in key locations beyond MetLife Stadium, the team's home field.
"Our fans are at the heart of everything we do, and our partnership with Outfront creates new opportunities to connect with them in meaningful ways especially as we get back to football," said Jeff Fernandez, senior vice president of business development and ventures with the Jets, in a statement.
Engaging traveling fans
The partnership reaches fans before and after games, not just inside the stadium. Sponsors can advertise at key transit hubs and other community meeting places across Outfront's OOH network in the greater New York metro area. Outfront Studios will adapt their existing creative from broadcast, digital, and social campaigns into OOH formats.
Through the partnership, Jets’ sponsors also can also optimize creative from broadcast, digital and social campaigns to out-of-home formats with the help of Outfront Studios.
"Together with the New York Jets, we're helping sponsors show up throughout the entire fan journey, extending their reach beyond the stadium walls and into the moments where culture, community, and fandom come to life,” said Chris Mallen, Outfront's vice president of sports marketing and partnerships, in a statement.
Outfront has run this playbook at scale before. It supported more than 115 brand campaigns across the 11 US host cities of FIFA World Cup 2026, according to the company.
Kickoff campaign
The Jets tested the model on themselves first. Their "Back to Football" campaign launched in August with an ad takeover at New York's Penn Station and an event hosted by retired Jets linebacker Bart Scott. Penn Station connects New York travelers to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, making it a key hub for Jets fans, as it was for FIFA games this summer.
Seeing OOH ads around major sporting events sparks engagement, even among fans who don’t attend the event. Some 42% of consumers discuss the event with friends or family after seeing an OOH ad, according to a September 2025 survey from The Harris Poll. Another 42% watch the event or highlights on traditional TV or streaming as a result, per The Harris Poll.
Growing sports sponsorships’ reach
The Jets partnership provides a solution for sponsors seeking a larger network for sports campaigns. Earlier this year, Pacers Sports & Entertainment launched Fieldhouse Media Network to reach Pacers and Fever fans on digital channels beyond in-stadium screens.
Demand is there: 32% of brands invested in sponsoring professional sports teams, according to an October 2025 B2B International survey of CMOs.
"By combining our partners with Outfront's expansive media platform, we're helping partners engage audiences throughout the region and creating experiences that extend the excitement of Jets football far beyond gamedays,” said Fernandez.
