The news: Hims & Hers is acquiring at-home lab testing facility Sigmund NJ LLC, marketed as Trybe Labs, for an undisclosed amount. Hims expects to roll out at-home testing to customers over the next year.

More on the tie-up: Hims can soon offer its members a range of at-home tests for conditions associated with heart health, kidney health, metabolic health, cancer, and more. The tests are ordered online and conducted at home using a blood lancet, a small medical instrument that draws small amounts of blood from the skin for diagnostic testing. Hims will take over ownership of Trybe’s lab facility in New Jersey, where it will process patients’ tests.
