GLP-1 patients are adopting healthier habits, presenting an opportunity for health and wellness brands

The data: Consumers who have taken a GLP-1 drug report having a better approach to managing their health and wellness when on the medication, according to a recent survey from Dentsu. Some 1,000 US adults were surveyed in January 2025, 200 of whom had ever taken a GLP-1 drug. Most GLP-1 user respondents (71%) took the GLP-1 for weight loss.

Digging into the findings: 9 in 10 people who have used the drug say it improved their ability to manage their health and wellness. And 3 in 4 say it’s broken the “exhausting loop of weight loss and dieting.”

GLP-1 patients actively look for ways to improve their diet and fitness.
