The news: Enterprise adoption of generative AI (genAI) is still on the rise, but data accuracy and ROI are declining.

  • GenAI adoption is up 43.6% YoY, per Appen’s 2024 State of AI report, with internal business processes and IT operations as the top two use cases.
  • The number of initiatives making it to launch are stalling, with the average number of AI projects actually being deployed down 14.6% since 2021.
