Amex uses White Lotus-themed perks to woo Gen Z, millennial cardholders

The news: American Express partnered with streaming platform Max to offer cardholders limited-time premium perks in honor of season three of HBO’s The White Lotus, per a press release.

  • Platinum and Centurion cardholders can join Amex on a three-night international wellness retreat at a Four Seasons Resort in Thailand—one of the filming locations for the season—or a two-night stay at a Four Seasons Resort in California.
  • Amex also sponsored behind-the-scenes content for Max subscribers and created a White Lotus-inspired travel guide for Thailand.
