The news: Amazon reported $158.9 billion in revenue in Q3, up 11% YoY, with a striking 19% YoY sales growth in its Amazon Web Services (AWS) segment.

Data center expansion is top of mind as Amazon spent $22.6 billion on property and equipment, up 81% YoY.

AI infrastructure remains an investment priority, and most of Amazon’s estimated $75 billion capital expenditures this year will go to AWS and AI.
