The news: Affirm will report all of its pay-over-time products to TransUnion starting May 4, per a press release.
Like the Experian tie-up, consumers will see details of their Affirm transactions on their credit files, but their BNPL histories will not be visible to lenders or factored into their traditional credit scores in the near term.
As more BNPL providers report their information, loans could start getting factored into credit scores.
