Methodology
Data is from the August 2026 Pew Research Center survey titled "American Trends Panel Wave 195" conducted by Social Science Research Solutions (SSRS). 3,488 US adults were surveyed during June 22-28, 2026. The American Trends Panel is Pew Research Center’s nationally representative panel of randomly selected US adults. SSRS administered the survey both online (n=3,362) and via live telephone (n=126) interviews. Interviews were conducted in English and Spanish. The margin of error for the full sample of respondents is +/-1.8 percentage points.Chart Title
