Methodology

Data is from the October 2025 Bain & Company and EMARKETER Survey “Retail Media Networks” conducted by ROI Rocket. 73 US sell-side retail media leaders were surveyed during July 11-August 21, 2025. Respondents were from grocery/mass merchandise (GMM), specialty/single-category retailers, online marketplaces, apparel/footwear, department stores, and health and beauty companies. Respondents’ job roles were primarily marketing, strategy, media planning, ad operations, ad sales, and account management. Most respondents hold director, executive vice president, or vice president-level positions.
