Methodology
Data is from the December 2022 Capgemini Research Institute report titled "Total Immersion: How Immersive Experiences and the Metaverse Benefit Customer Experience and Operations." 8,000 respondents ages 18+ were surveyed online during July-August 2022. The survey was conducted in the US (15% of respondents); France, Germany, Japan, and South Korea (10% each); Canada and the UK (8% each); Italy, Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden (6% each); and Australia (5%). In addition, 1,000 executives at organizations with at least $1 billion in revenues were surveyed during August-September 2022. The executive survey was conducted in the same countries as the consumer survey, with the same proportions of respondents.
