Methodology

Data is from the January 2022 Cornerstone Advisors report titled "What's Going On in Banking 2022". 300 senior executives, 55% from banks and 45% from credit unions, from U.S.-based mid-size financial institutions were surveyed during December 2021. 10% of the respondents are with financial institutions with less than $250 million, 11% with financial institutions with $250 million to $500 million, 21% are with financial institutions with $500 million to $1 billion in assets, 31% are with financial institutions with $1 billion to $3 billion in assets, 22% with financial institutions with $3 billion to $20 billion in assets, and 4% are from financial institutions with assets between $20 billion and $50 billion.
