Methodology

Data is from a November 2021 Retail Systems Research (RSR) report titled "Retail Supply Chain: Navigating Through Rough Waters With Improved Agility" sponsored by Blue Yonder. 90 retailers worldwide were surveyed online during July-August 2021. 77% of respondents had annual revenues of $500+ million. The products sold at the retailers included apparel, footwear, specialty (17%), fast moving consumer goods (22%), general merchandise (30%), hard goods (24%), and vertically integrated brands (7%). 14% of retailers had a retail presence in Asia-Pacific, 38% had a retail presence in Canada, 24% had a retail presence in Europe, 20% had a retail presence in Latin America, 10% had a retail presence in Middle East & Africa, 19% had a retail presence in the UK, and 100% had a presence in the US.
