Methodology

Data is from the July 2021 Sensormatic Solutions "2021 US Back-to-School Consumer Sentiment Survey" as cited in company blog. 1,000 US internet users ages 18+ were surveyed online during June 14-20, 2021. Responses came from 750 parents of children ages 5-18 and 250 full-time undergrad or graduate students.
