Respondents were asked, "Approximately how much of your workforce operated remotely before the COVID-19 crisis? and, "Right now, approximately how much of your workforce is currently working remotely?"

Methodology

Data is from the August 2020 Workable report tiled "The New World of Work." 366 HR professionals, talent acquisition professionals and business leaders worldwide were surveyed during early June 2020. Respondents had operations in North America (66.6%), continental Europe (32.3%), UK/Ireland (25.8%) and Asia (24.7%) with number of full-time employees of 1-499 (80.5%), 500-4,999 (16.8%) or over 5,000 (3.7%) in the key verticals of IT/technology (31.8%), consulting/business services (11.8%) and healthcare (7.6%). Respondents primarily were from the departments of HR (41.9%), recruitment (13.2%) and operations (12.4%) at the job level of manager/director (47.5%), individual contributor (24.2%) and owner/executive/C-suite (11.8%). Workable is a talent acquisition software company.
