Consumers in the UK were asked which channels they would prefer to shop for Christmas gifts. Responses include in stores, websites of stores without physical stores (e.g. Amazon, Aliexpress), websites of stores with one or more physical stores, mobile commerce of stores without physical stores, ... mobile commerce of stores with one or more physical stores, websites but using an in-store device, mail order catalogues and other.More

Methodology

Data is from the November 2019 Deloitte "Holiday Shopping Trends Survey 2019- UK Edition." 803 UK internet users ages 18-65 were surveyed online during September 16-October 11, 2019. This survey was part of the Europe study conducted among 6,124 internet users across eight countries, including the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Poland, Portugal, and Russia. Respondents are representative of the local population based on consumption behaviors, income level, personal interests and sociodemographic characteristics.
