Data is from the May 2019 Hubspot and University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce report titled "Perceptions of Online Privacy and Response to Privacy Regulation (1 year after GDPR)." Results are based on two consumer surveys for which 540 internet users ages 20-89 were surveyed online during August 2018 and 1,115 internet users ages 22-65 were surveyed online during April 2019. Respondents were based in France, Germany, the UK and the US.
