US consumers were asked whether they are more likely to use their smartphone or speak to an in-store associate when looking for various types of information in-store. Some of the types of information consumers were asked about were customer reviews, comparison of products, product specifications, ... and deals or discounts.

Methodology

Data is from an April 2019 RetailMeNot survey conducted by Kelton Global. 1,040 US internet users ages 18+ were surveyed online during March 15-20, 2019.
