Methodology
Data is from the August 2018 Paypal and Ipsos report titled "Paypal Cross Border Consumer Research 2018." 34,000 internet users ages 18+ in 31 countries were surveyed online during March 13-May 1, 2018. All respondents own and use an internet-enabled device. Approximately 1,000 respondents were surveyed in each country, with the exception of Poland, Russia and the UK with 2,000 respondents each. Respondents were recruited from internet panels. The countries included in the study were Australia, Austria, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, the UK and the US.
