Methodology

Data is from the May 2018 Kelton report titled "Privacy, Personalization and Promotions" prepared for SheerID. 1,023 US internet users ages 18+ were surveyed online during April 23-26, 2018. Quotes were set to ensure a reliable representation of the US populations 18+. Results of any sample are ... subject to sampling variation. The magnitude of the variation is measurable and is affected by the number of interviews and the level of the percentages expressing the results. The margin of error is +/-3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level. The margin of error for any subgroups will be slightly higher.
