Methodology

Data is from the May 2018 ACI Worldwide and Ovum "2018 Global Payments Insight Survey: Merchants." 604 merchants were surveyed during December 2017-January 2018. Respondents were from the Americas (n=250), Asia-Pacific (n=250) and Europe (n=104). Respondents identified their company's revenues as $250 million-$1 billion (n=351), $1 billion-$2 billion (n=87), $2 billion-$5 billion (n=85%), $5 billion-$10 billion (n=30) and $10 billion+ (n=51). Respondents identified their vertical as digital goods (n=91), hospitality (n=104), retail (n=190), telecom (n=96) and travel (n=123). ACI Worldwide is a electronic banking and payment solutions provider.
