Methodology
Data is from the May 2018 Ericsson Consumer & IndustryLab report titled "Beyond smartphone shopping – the rise of smart assistants." 5,048 internet users ages 15-69 worldwide were surveyed online in January 2018. Respondents were from Johannesburg, London, Mexico City, Moscow, New York, San Francisco, São Paulo, Shanghai, Sydney and Tokyo and fit the profile of early urban adopters, representing 50 million of the 180 million living in these cities.
