Methodology
Data is from the April 2018 Crowd Research Partners and Cybersecurity Insiders "2018 GDPR Compliance Report." 531 US IT, cybersecurity and compliance professionals from various industries were surveyed during March 2018 about their company's perspectives on the impact of the new data privacy regulation, how prepared they are and how they plan to be in compliance. Respondents identified their job roles as analyst (10%), CISO/CSO/ISO (11%), director (23%), DPO/privacy office (11%), manager (22%), VP of IT (3%), VP of security (5%) and other (15%) at companies with 1-250 employees (44%), 251-500 (11%), 501-1,000 (12%), 1,001-5,000 (16%), 5,001-10,000 (7%), 10,001-20,000 (3%) and 20,000+ (7%) employees. The report was produced in partnership with the following cybersecurity vendors: Alert Logic, Alien Vault, Cavirin, Data 443, D3 Security, Haystax and Securonix.
