This chart shows smartphone penetration rate in the US. The data is broken out by race/ethnicity and represents individuals of any age who own at least one smartphone and use the smartphone(s) at least once per month.Note
Smartphones are any voice handset with an advanced operating system (e.g., Android, BlackBerry, iOS, Windows Phone) and features/capabilities that resemble a PC.Methodology
Estimates are based on the analysis of survey and traffic data from research firms and regulatory agencies; historical trends; and country-specific demographic and socioeconomic factors.Chart Title
