Methodology

Data is from the October 2017 Bluewolf report titled "The State of Salesforce." Over 1,800 Salesforce customers from a variety of industries were surveyed during May-July 2017. Respondents were from the US (83%) and rest of the world (17%). Respondents identified their function as engineering (5%), ... finance (7%), HR (2%), IT (22%), marketing (16%), operations (11%), sales (22%), services & support (6%) and other (9%). Respondents identified their role as account executive (10%), admin-business (7%), admin-technology (14%), C-level (12%), coordinator (5%), director (16%), manager (25%), VP (10%) and other (1%). Respondents identified their company's business model as B2B (64%), B2C (15%) and B2B2C (21%). Respondents identified the number of employees at their company as 1-3,500 (69%), 3,501-5,000 (8%), 5,001-10,000 (9%) and 10,001+ (14%). Bluewolf is a business consulting firm.More
