How Do US Adults Feel About the US Economy? (% of respondents, March 2022-May 2022)

Methodology

Data is from a May 2022 Gallup study as cited in company blog. 1,007 US adults ages 18+ were surveyed via telephone (75% cellphone and 25% landline) during May 2-22, 2022. For results based on the total sample of national adults, the margin of sampling error is +/-4 percentage points at the 95% confidence level. All reported margins of sampling error include computed design effects for weighting. Landline and cellular telephone numbers are selected using random-digit-dial methods. Prior surveys also feature data from the Gallup Social Series, wherein Gallup interviews a minimum of 1,000 US adults ages 18+ for each GPSS survey.
