Methodology

Data is from the February 2022 Benchmark ESG "The 2021 Benchmark ESG Survey: Investor Attitudes on Company ESG Data". 770 US investment decision-makers and 225 US institutional investors were surveyed online during November 12-29, 2021. The margin of error for an n=770 sample is +/-3.52 percentage points and +/-6.52 percentage points for an n=225 subgroup institutional investors.
