Methodology

Data is from an October 2020 The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) report titled "New Dimensions of Change: Building Trust in a Digital Consumer Landscape" sponsored by TransUnion. 1,610 executives worldwide were surveyed during July 22-September 1, 2020. Respondents were mainly located in the UK and the US (11.2% each), Canada and South Africa (10.6% each), India (10.1%), and Brazil (9.3%) with annual revenues of $1 to less than 100 million (21.1%), $100 to less than $500 million (39.5%), $500 million to less than $5 billion (32.5%) or over $5 billion (6.8%) with a title of C-level executive (49.9%), MD/EVP/SVP/VP/director (29.9%), or head of business unit or department (20.2%). TransUnion is an information and insights company providing credit security.
