Methodology

Data is from an August 2021 GlobalData report titled "The State of the Biopharmaceutical Industry- 2021" as cited in company blog. 198 pharmaceutical executives worldwide at GlobalData clients and prospects were surveyed during November 17-December 11, 2020. The respondents are from approximately 30 countries in North America (n=89), Europe (n=64), Asia-Pacific (n=25), and other parts of the world (n=20). The majority of the respondents from the North America region were coming from the US. The respondents were C-level executives (13%), VP/SVP/EVPs (20%), directors (31%), managers (23%), and associate/nonmanagerial positions (13%). Respondent mix by company size constitutes less than 500 employees (54%), 500-999 employees (10%), 1,000-4,999 employees (14%), 5,000-9,999 employees (7%), and 10,000+ employees (17%).
